I'm a researcher in the field od outer space law and outer space law and economics, collaborating with the Law Institute of the Science and Research Centre of the University of Primorska, and specializing in:
- Regional development of outer space law, policy and business, e.g. in the EU context
- Privatization and commercialisation of space activities
- Launching and space transportation
- Space tourism and private spaceflight
- Space laboratories such as the International Space Station
- Colonization of space and celestial bodies
- Trade issues regarding space products and services, including intellectual property rights
- International financing od space activities, public-private partnerships
- The legal status of the Moon and other celestial bodies, including issues of planetary defence and planetary protection

- Space medicine and pharmaceuticals research - legal aspects
- Disaster prevention (legal aspects of satellite observation, remote sensing, etc.)
